HA! WOW, young lady on the phone was crazy rude. When I called her out on her poor costumer service and said I’d be going somewhere else, she said, ‘good, we don’t want your business anyway’. What a joke. This place came recommended by a friend for some machine work, too. I don’t expect them to be open too much longer. Hope your day gets better, sister (she refused to tell me her name other than ‘Forbes’). 🤷♂️

I left a friend's head from her 4.9 Ford pickup, for a valve job and resurfacing. The total came to $151 and change; not bad. They had a full gasket set, in stock, too, which I expected. Dropped off Monday, picked up Thursday, and their guy unloaded and loaded.

This should be your machine shop-period.! From the knowledgeable lady that answers the phone to the machinist that actually does the inspection and work. I've been a certified master ASE mechanic since 1987 and advanced specialist since 1992. I built competition engines for 9 years and I affirm these folks will do whatever your automotive machining needs require...precision is precision and "Right" is what you'll take from their shop. WARNING! DON'T TAKE YOUR VEHICLE TO THIS SHOP! Had engine rebuilt and it's still leaking! Had to take my motor apart to take it back in. They claimed they put a new seal in it, which i already tried, I spent two days putting my motor back in, and IT'S STILL LEAKING! The people are rude, they don't like to be questioned! TAKE AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!!!!!!!!

Actually I have been to Forbes Automotive and I have had tremendous success with all of the engine and carburetor rebuild. Now going on 27 years and still counting. Great people and even better service. God bless

I have been going to Forbes since I was in High School. I am now in my sixties. The staff has always been right to the point and does not appreciate you wasting their time but they have ALWAYS fixed whatever I have brought in.
