Walters Auto Salvage

Called to check for a 2003 Chevy Avalanche Proportioning Valve, hadn't had any luck from other yards, GM was $200+. Owner called me back within a few minutes, asked me for a photo, and then when I sent it called me immediately and said he had it! Super nice fella, absolutely blew me out of the water that he had it, and the price was great! Really great end to trying to get this thing up and running, just did new lines and calipers thinking they had rusted, just to find out it was the proportioning valve that had failed, but now I can keep trying to make it nice again!

If I could give them zero stars I would. Called for a tow at 8pm was told he’d be arriving in 45 minutes , he was then called to a 911 call was told he’d be here in an additional hour which was fine called at 11:28 pm. Told he would be here within the hour. He called back at 12:17am to tell me he was having something repaired on the truck and wasn’t able to get here until 2am. I placed the keys in the car and went to bed for work I woke up at 630 am and my vehicle is still parked no communication nothing so I call and he says “ I didn’t know that car had a flat tire”. Dissatisfied is and under statement.

Called first. Drove 45 miles. Young kid locked the door in my face 20 minutes before listed closing time. Never going back. They did tell me that they had my rim. Then this when I arrive.

I went all over grand rapids looking for a old-school part for my 1983 chevy caprice nobody had it never thought to call Walter's auto salvage till 3days later you better know it he had it ..so if you ever need a good part please call Walter's Auto salvage very good business
