Horrible Experience at LKQ Greer (SC) I came at noon and spent almost half the day (4–5 hours!) pulling tires with rims. About 25 minutes before closing, I went to the counter and asked for the $5 tire dismount service — they refused. I even asked to buy the tires together with the rims — still refused. Meanwhile, 5–10 customers behind me were still being served and buying parts until closing time. I have photo and video proof of this selective and biased treatment. As a result, I wasted half a day, lost around $200, and spent Labor Day on their dirty yard instead of with my family. I came for the 50% off sale — but ended up with no parts, no discount, just wasted time and money. I consider this treatment humiliating. I will be filing complaints with BBB, state and federal agencies to request full inspections of this location, and I will take this to small claims court to recover my losses. It would have been cheaper and faster to just buy new tires at a store than waste time on this junk. This place selectively sells parts and treats customers unfairly — I do NOT recommend it to anyone.

Employee's were extremely rude and didn't want to help me find the vehicles I needed to get a part off of. It's like trying to pull teeth with the employee's there except for 1 employee she was very nice. Ohhh and they overcharged 3x the …

The prices are pretty high, but the worst part is the way they treat you. When you’re leaving, the guy at the exit checks your things like you’re a thief. In my case, I wanted to leave with my toolbox and he didn’t even let me show it myself. The guy wanted to put his hands in it, open it, and turn it over, messing everything up, without letting me show him anything. That’s disrespectful. I understand they have controls, but not like that— not with that attitude or touching your personal belongings. I won’t be coming back here to look for parts anymore. There’s another place just four miles away with lower prices.

Hello, upstate South Carolina! My Memorial Day weekend was pretty darn great.... 50% off parts and free hotdogs! We went to the LKQ in Greer, South Carolina, on Friday and Monday(today) for their 50% off Memorial Day Sale Event. Good food, service, and deals! Me, Lynda, and Dorian wore this place out! Thank you to all who made our visit to this location well worth it! Special thanks to the guys and girls out at the hotdog area and also to Jaylen, who checked us out at the register both days! Thanks, LKQ of Greer, South Carilina!

This place has really gone down hill recently. 1) the yard is terribly maintained. It needs new gravel all around and someone needs to take the time to clean up the crazy number of parts just scattered on the ground everywhere. 2) the prices are becoming absurd. I can get new parts off RockAuto for what they're asking these days. 3) they don't let you buy just ABS computers, they make you buy the whole valve assembly. I can go to the Pull-a-Part in in Atlanta or Columbia and get just the computer for a fifth the price they want the whole assembly here. 4) they got rid of the lifetime warranty option on their batteries Don't get me wrong, this place has never been great but since they got bought out by private equity they've become noticeably stingier and the overall quality and upkeep of the yard has gone way downhill.

People usually go to junkyards because used parts are supposed to be cheaper. But that’s not the case with this place. They sell the parts as if they were brand new, and the prices are extremely high. On top of that, they even add extra fees on the invoices, something other places don’t do. If you’re looking for affordable parts, don’t come here. I really don’t recommend this place. It’s way too expensive. To give you an idea, I bought a front hood for a car and it cost me almost $200. It just doesn’t make sense.

I recently purchased an electric power steering pump that came as a single, integrated unit with the reservoir attached. Even though they are built together and intended to be one assembly, I was charged a core fee for the electric power steering pump AND an additional separate reservoir fee.
