As traveling electricians, my husband and I have slowly created a nest egg of random scrap pieces over the years and needed to scrap it to get to a job in Texas by Monday. Not only were their prices over a dollar less than Recycle Pros, they wanted documentation or a receipt or some type of paperwork for it. So if you're an electrician and you've stocked up over the years at different job sites (ours is from anywhere between Nebraska, Virginia, from Wisconsin to Texas and everywhere in between) I guess make sure each one of your jobs that let you take a few pieces signs off on something with a letterhead. Although, based on the price, it's not worth it to even go through all that.

Simple and honest. Great competitive pricing. Paid me $205 for scrapping this. All the " we buy junk cars" people only offered $125. Pull a part offered $165.

I recommend this place to anyone. The women in the office were very helpful and friendly. They took the time to tell me how to get the most out of my scrap. How much each metal paid , and they didn't seem to mind my endless questions. When I took my truck across the scales, and that big red headed dude got outta the big machine, looking like he wanted to rip the juggler vein out of Bigfoot. Scared the bejesus outta me. Totally different outcome. Friendly as all get out. Great guy, for real. He even helped me unload my truck. Showed me some copper and aluminum I was scrapping as sheet metal , that I could've taken in and sold for a higher price. I will take my business to Westside auto salvage from now on. And I highly recommend this place to anyone .

Drive 35 minutes to scrap metel only to find out they close at 4. Google says 5. When I ask what the deal is lady says door says 4 we can't change it on Google. If you know how to use the app on Google then you most certainly can change it. Instead you wasted an hour of 2 peoples time an about 6 gallons of diesel because you can't operate properly. Last time I go there
