How do I purchase parts at North Shore Auto Parts?

Given the nature of auto salvage yards, customers typically visit the physical location. Parts availability can be confirmed by calling ahead, which is recommended. Depending on the yard's model, customers might either pull parts themselves (self-service) or request staff assistance for removal (full-service). After selection, parts are paid for at a counter.

Does North Shore Auto Parts buy junk cars?

Yes, auto salvage yards like North Shore Auto Parts commonly purchase end-of-life vehicles. Owners with cars that are no longer running, damaged, or simply unwanted can contact the yard to receive a cash quote. The process usually involves providing vehicle details, receiving an offer, and then arranging for vehicle towing and transfer of ownership paperwork.

What is the warranty policy for used parts?

Policies for used parts often vary by yard. While new parts from dealers typically carry a 12-month warranty, used OEM parts from salvage yards might offer exchange options, rather than a full refund, for a limited period if a part is found to be defective.
