They treated us poorly, they told us that part would be there on Thursday, I should up and the clerk told me that UPS comes around 3 to 3:30. All was good and I waited. I go back in at 4 just to get an update and the man working told me that he doesn’t control UPS , i asked if he had a tracking number and he said he. So i waited outside, the next thing I know he is walking to his car and I asked if he was leaving. He said yes. Didn’t say sorry it didn’t come in. I told him I drove 2 hours to get there and he just looked at me. Why tell someone the would be there an act like they don’t care about you. It would be one thing if he acted like he cared. I will never do business with them again. And I will tell everyone I know not to do business there. Thank you

I called looking for a set of rims for my antique camper. The woman on the phone literally laughed at me and told me I could come look for myself because she is not about to go look for something like that for someone else... It was a simple question, and I understand that salvage yards cannot possibly know EVERYTHING that they have laying around, but this will certainly be the last time I ever call Gates, and I'll be sure that other people know they will likely be dealing with a real piece of work if they happen upon this wonderful woman.

Called in for a part and the lady on the phone said she will call me back and she did. She said the part would be $30 which is way over price for what I was getting and I told her that was really expensive and she was like then "good luck" …

Close at 4, you have to take your own parts off, they can’t tell you if they have the part and you’re not allowed to drive back there(gotta walk). Not sure how someone who works is supposed to get any part without taking time off and being majorly inconvenienced. Only thing going for them is the the most junk around

Trashy company. Your own small town and your truck goes flying through trash blowing everywhere and when you get a phone call your response we don't deal with trash (bc nobody has ever put trash in a metal dumpster ever) it was your big blue truck with a dumpster on the back. Atleast 15 magazine probably more pizza boxes and other trash right down the main road in town but you could care less huh? That's classy! Shows what kind of people own the place.

I was 10 minutes late coming out of the yard and she went into my vehicle and stole $800+ worth of Milwaukee and snap on tools. Been going there for years never thought something like that would happen.
