Broadway Auto Parts wreckers

Review for Broadway Auto Wreckers Ltd Location: 13545 Sacramento Ave, Blue Island, IL I recently had a highly disappointing experience with Broadway Auto Wreckers Ltd. Here are the key issues I encountered: Faulty product:** I purchased an engine and transmission and battery that turned out to be defective. Unreasonable fees:** The shop charged an additional $300 restocking fee that I found to be inappropriate and not clearly justified. Poor communication and unsafe practices:** Repeated attempts to contact Khalid were unsuccessful; he blocked my phone numbers, making it extremely difficult to resolve the situation. Refund and service recovery problems:** I spent a considerable amount of time trying to recover my funds, with little to no satisfactory assistance from the seller. Personal Experience Summary Multiple unsuccessful attempts to reach the seller (Khalid) for resolution. Denied or obstructed communication after initiating refunds or returns. No adequate remedy or assistance provided to address the faulty engine and restocking concerns. Recommendation Based on this experience, I cannot recommend Broadway Auto Wreckers Ltd or Khalid for automotive parts or services. If you decide to engage with them, proceed with extreme caution: Insist on a detailed, written description of the engine’s condition and a tested warranty. Request a clear, itemized receipt including any restocking fees, and ensure a return/refund policy is documented. Use a traceable payment method and consider recording conversations where legal and appropriate. Do not pay upfront for services or parts before you have inspected them or received a verified warranty or return policy.

Im a autobody tech. They overcharged for completely damaged parts. They'll lie and tell you what you're looking for is in great condition. If you recieve photos theyll hide the damages. You get there its like the car they pulled the parts …

This place is operating a scam. They claim to provide a 90 day warranty on engines but when they provide an engine that was left sitting out in the elements with rusted over pistons, they refuse to honor their warranty.

Purchased 4 used Michelin tires for an outstanding price. It was quick, easy, friendly. Highly recommended!!!

The best place with used parts. They have almost all cars in stock. Very good service

They sold me a major part that didn’t fit and had me thinking they would deliver a new one to the mechanic but they never did then they blocked my phone.

Service is bad specially with Khalid says one thing and does a another thing ..very disappointed

Was quoted one price drove down guy looked at my hat decided to charge me more. Afghan war vet hat. Showed the text chain at agreed price didn’t seem to care. It was a 3 hour one way drive I could order parts at the price they upped it to new shipped to my house. So instead of getting mad I said sure to the higher price. They took the parts off the car brought them out I then looked at them said I changed my mind. Play stupid games win stupid prizes. So it’s a one star but sometimes just act come and give them a lesson on diversity equity and inclusion.

The mechanic in the yard is very fast and friendly. 10/10 recommend!! ⭐️

I bought my engine from this place two months ago. It runs great, and they gave me a three-month warranty. I recommend this place if you are looking to buy used parts.
