Part Quality Checklist

Take these precautions to verify that parts are functional before purchase:

• Verify Part Numbers: Compare original OEM tags directly against salvaged parts in the yard.
• Look Inside Electrical Sockets: Make sure there are no bent pins or green corrosion before purchasing.
• Bring Extra Extensions: You will need long-reach sockets to unbolt hard-to-reach motor mounts.
• Decode Vehicle History: Use our VIN lookup tool to check model specs and ensure parts match.
• Sell Unwanted Cars: If your car is beyond salvage, you can also sell your junk car for cash directly.
