Used to buy parts from Baldwin yrs ago , good prices and good parts , the last 10/12 yrs the service and the parts have went to hell and back , I really don’t see how they stay in business with how it being run , been calling several weeks now to inquire about a part and haven’t even got a call back about the part , from the secretary/dispatcher to the manager has went to hell

My bf bought a jeep motor from these fellas who were generally very nice and willing to help us. At first the guy said 650 and he would deliver then when I called to set up the purchase he said it would be 40$ extra for delivery. Then ken said it was a miscommunication and it would be free of charge as long as they could have the old engine. Not only did they take all day to deliver but once they did they brought the wrong engine. Then wen they returned with the correct one they also added a 40$ charge for delivery. That’s the only reason they didn’t get 5 stars from me. I deals a deal. It’s not right to charge someone for your employees mistake.

I was there for 1 hour before they went to get the part. Stayed there for 4 hours and 17 minutes before the part was broughtto us. It was all handled on the phone before hand as well. They never called us back after initial call. Sorry as I'll get out. Priced like it was new parts. They don't want to be there.

I would rate this place with no stars if Google would allow me to. The customer service could be better provided by a chimpanzee. I have visited this place multiple times over the years and have never been satisfied a single time. One example of a time I visited I was looking for a transmission. When I first arrived I had to wait for thirty minutes just to speak with a man who I'm pretty shour was high as a kite, because he had to sit to talk to me and he fell asleep mid sentence talking to me. So I proceeded to find someone else and the next man I found claimed to be the manager. I then told him what I was looking for (transmission) and he told me $1500 little did he know I had already priced a brand new one from the dealership for $1125 I told the man this and he said his price was firm so I left unsatisfied.

This place charged $1000 for a motor that they said was off a running vehicle involved in a rear-end collision so the motor supposedly was good. My dad bought the motor for $1000. The mechanic who received this motor is undergoing cancer …

My dad bought a transmission off these people coming to find out they sold him a bad transmission.. they would not refund his money.. then told my dad he’s he didn’t know what he was doing… well my dad works on cars since he was 13 that was his job.. but to cut this short. When I called was quoted price of $40 and 15 minutes to pull part. When I got there about 30 minutes later part had mot been pulled, had to tell them where part was located on vehicle, and price was raised to $100. Kids running around junkyard and office screaming and running over people. They need to separate their business and family areas. Do not recommend them to anyone.
