I was down visiting my folks in Georgia when I had an unfortunate accident in my 2018 Silverado that required fixing the right front fender/control arm/steering knuckle and replacing my truck's front airbags/seatbelts. I was able to get quite a few of the items I needed from Ackerman's. No salvage yards local to my parents had any new enough trucks to fit my needs. My brother-in-law called ahead of time to verify they had the parts and get a quote. The folks were nice to us. They had a cat that my twin sister and I played with while waiting. When we went to pay, they cut $200 off of what we had been quoted, which helped me out a lot and for which I am grateful. Everything worked for my truck, and it got me back going. ❤️

Part was aa described. Newer Impala rim. Just wish it wasn't so curb rashed. But at the price and not being able to find one in all of S.C. I can't complain.

I was desperate in my search for a radiator core support for my 1978 Nova. They don’t make it aftermarket and mine was completely rusted out. The staff at Ackermans made the process easy. I called about it and it was 3 hours from where I live. Well I called on my way and by the time I arrived they had taken it off the car and immediately loaded it my truck. It took all of 5 minutes. The guys were very friendly. Their restroom was clean (yay) and they even asked if we would like a water. I would recommend them to anyone and would use them again if needed.

I called this place four times asking about a steering wheel with key and they told me they had it for my truck. I drove 2 hours just be told they can’t find the key also it’s not even an airbag in the steering wheel like they said it was. The price went from 150 to 165 plus I had to buy a key with was 40 dollars. Everyone that works at this place are scammers and trust me when I say all the bad this company is doing will come back on each and everyone of y’all just watch and remember I said this! Better know who you do bad to cause God doesn’t play about me! Don’t do business with Ackerman’s just a waste of time and money!!!

I would have given them a 1 but they had a good initial price. They want cash in payment (or charge 20% for check or card payment) then give returns with a 20% restock fee. I don't get that. They are going to need to remove the part …

As a used car dealer I rely on places like these. However after dealing with Ackerman's today I would rather buy my parts new from the dealership. I source my parts on a website called Car_part.com. Ackerman's had listed some wheels that I needed for a truck that I am repairing. So I drove the 2 hours one way and went inside. I was greeted very rudely and felt as if I was bothering them by just being there. The customer service was terrible and was informed that the listing on the website was over 500 days old and they had long sold the part. Usually when a company like this sells a listed part they take it out of inventory. The gentle man at the desk acted as if I should have known this. I might be young but that doesn't excuse anything. Ackerman's will not receive my business again. Treat someone right and they tell 10 people. Treat someone wrong and they tell 100 people.
